Clash of the Titans Movie Review

Clash of the Titans is really a high action packed remake of the classic 1981 film of the same name. This digitized 3-D epic is really a retelling of the storied battle between good and evil. This years film stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, and Ralph Fiennes amongst others, playing the roles of Gods, Humans, and evil beings not seen since the mythical age. While well accepted in the box office by movie goers, earning over $60 million in the opening weekend, the way the movie compare when it comes to quality?

Clash of the Titans tells the storyline of Perseus, the half god-half man son of the Zeus, King of all of the gods and ruler of Mt. Olympus. Perseus finds himself in the centre of the ultimate battle between good and evil. Evil here's represented by many people CGI created beasts and the what are known as ruler of the underworld, Hades. Perseus is played by Sam Worthington who sufficient to make us believe he is able to easily play a sword wielding brute, while Neeson and Fiennes, who're great actors themselves provide the film true star backing by playing Zeus and Hades. Both brothers, Zeus and Hades, are fighting to determine who's in their belief of the human subordinates.

The reviews which have been pouring in over this film really are a mixed bag of goodies.... the entire gist is the fact that many reviewers aren't particularly impressed whatsoever. Sure the experience is cool and the monsters are wonderfully digitally simulated, however the storyline and plot is sub-par. The film is marketed to be 3-D, however the producers simply tacked on the effect after seeing the monstrous success of Avatar earlier this winter. The 3-D effects will be to few in number to be given serious attention. Also the truth that this can be a remake of the extremely popular 1981 film that lots of critics hold dear within their heart and the lackluster effect of the current edition creates an event that lots of reviewers didn't like.

There are a handful of reviews that are positive available, and i'm here to express I actually do recommend this film. I only say by using a knowning that if you really are a fan of the genre, action and adventure. You'll love this particular movie if you don't take it to honestly, grab your popcorn and candy, relax and relish the ride... even when its just a little cheesy.
