Fast and Furious - Cars in Film

When Universal launched the short and the Furious number of street racing films, they merely expected merely a modest return. Although street racing was getting lots of press attention and the interest in modified imports were exploding, the films never was expected to be a blockbuster.

However, the film was surprise summer hit. It grossed $40, 089, 015 on its opening weekend, surpassing the film's $38 million budget.
