Kites - Does not Fly in the Box-Office - An evaluation

Kites, latest Bollywood movie that is created in Hindi as well as English starring Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori didn't produce the magic at box-office in comparison to the hype and controversies it created just before its release. The film had good locations, background score, picture perfect moments, good-looking hot pair; amazing dance number but nonetheless it lacked something standard, the tale.

This movie has been around news ever since it went on the floors, whether it is the casting coup of getting the Mexican beauty to work within an Indian movie or even the rumors of affection affair between your lead pair, supposedly scarring Hrithik's marriage or even the recent controversy round the release when the movie and the quantity of shows. According to the program producers of the movie decided to begin the morning shows of the movie as soon as 6: 30 each morning for that first couple weeks. Why? Were they worried it may not draw enough audiences to the theatres after the first week? Nothing remained unturned where publicity of the movie was concerned and perhaps the hype and raised expectations would be the reason behind this type of lukewarm response to the movie. The film fails o deliver what it really promised within the commercials and trailers - entertainment.

The central plot of the movie involves the most popular stating that love doesn't have words to speak. Well written and well portrayed within this movie. Both central characters cannot contact one another because they cannot understand one another's language, one can speak Hindi & English as the other one knows only Spanish, however they do talk the word what of affection and have the ability to elope. It is a story which will keep returning and forth in flashes as Hrithik attempts to recollect what went down in the life in last 3 months, how he meets Barbara or shall I only say Linda within this movie, the way they got married and go their separate ways until fate brings them face-to-face one fine day. Wow, such a shot that's, underwater, superior water, colorful fishes, magnificent corals!

Movie does deserve a unique mention in which the choice of shooting locations can be involved, because the scenic beauty is pure and unadulterated. Which is difficult to possess a Hrithik Roshan movie with no trademark song where he shows his amazing dance movements. Yes, you receive an incredible dance number to look at in early stages within the movie. But that's it! A few car chases are beautifully shot before the viewer gets excited they get over!

All and all sorts of a film that fails to get results to its potential! Narrative is really weak that even good quality performances, beautiful outdoor locations or amazing stunts can't obtain the movie a lasting devote viewers mind or even the good reputation for Indian cinema. Watch the film, only if you really are a die-hard Hrithik or Barbara fan or if you do not have anything else concerning your time.
