The Exorcist is most likely one of the renowned and many popular horror movies ever. Decades later still it brings chills to people who watch it. Alien is all about a girl who becomes possessed with a demon. It's up to the exorcist to get rid of this demon from the young girl. Even if this movie is very old, the cinematography is very good. That, and the combination of the intense music can make some scenes incredibly scary.
The Exorcism of Emily Rose is really a more recent horror movie which did very well in the box office. It calls for a teenage girl who's considered possessed through the Catholic church. This movie was very popular despite several poor reviews from movie critics.
The Shining is yet another classic horror movie. It stars Jack Nicholson like a tired and frustrated writer. He feels as though he is able to never focus on his writing so he requires a job like a winter caretaker inside a hotel. Ironically as it happens your accommodation is haunted, so he doesn't reach perform a large amount of writing.
The Blair Witch Project is an extremely low quality horror film. It calls for someone filming a film within the woods. For any significant amount of the movie it's really a couple of teenagers talking and exploring. But close to the end it will get quite suspenseful.

They're soon given a number of tasks which should be completed inside a time period or they'll be killed. This movie isn't as much scary because it is gruesome and suspenseful.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre begins by proclaiming that it's with different true story. It's debated how true the storyline is really though. Five people within their 20's continue an extended journey.
