Movie Review - Wolverine

WOLVERINE REVIEW

Let me begin by stating that any bad reviews you've seen about X-Men Origins: Wolverine ought to be completely ignored. Anybody who likes comics, comic movies, action movies and blockbuster popcorn flicks generally will love this movie. My expectations weren't that high with this movie with the negative press surrounding it, but As it turned out which i really enjoyed it. Actually I liked it much better than any of the other X-Men movies and i am a large fan of these.

First in the acting only agreed to be fine. Hugh Jackman of course plays the smoothness he was created to experience with great skill and efficiency. Whether it's a tender moment for Wolverine or one featuring his trademark berserker rage, Jackman draws us in and causes us to be believe what we should are watching. Actually, whenever he's on the watch's screen (most of the movie); you cannot take your vision from him. Liev Schreiber provides a brilliant performance as Victor (Sabretooth), Wolverine's twisted, psychotic brother. Schreiber has this kind of evil glint in the eyes that his evil practically drips from the screen. He may be one of the best on the watch's screen villains ever. A unique shout out for Ryan Reynolds as sword wielding mutant, Deadpool. His role is brief, but he helps make the best from it leaving you wanting for more. Hopefully it'll repay for Reynolds and audiences everywhere and Deadpool can get their own movie just as the rumors have suggested. The remainder of the cast including Danny Huston, Dominic Monaghan and Taylor Kitsch, to mention just a few, give fine performances as well.

Director Gavin Hood displays great technical skill as well as does a fantastic job of keeping the film moving along in a brisk pace. As far as the action sequences go, X-Men Origins: Wolverine is on its game, in a major way. There are a number of major action sequences and fights as well as in a thing they all are AWESOME. Each fight is choreographed brilliantly plus they are a thrill to behold. It almost felt like there is more action within this movie compared to entire X-Men trilogy combined; the film is very the visceral rush. As far as the storyline goes, Wolverine only agreed to be right, simple to follow whilst being very faithful to the source material also it included a number of twists as well. Actually a sizable chunk of the characters back story is told within the first couple of minutes of the movie within an excellent montage that sets happens for that growing feud between your two brothers. The film really succeeds on all levels. Could it be the best comic film That i've ever seen? No, but it's quite the treat nonetheless.

I don't genuinely have any theories why the film has been panned by a lot of critics apart from that perhaps these were searching for Wolverine to reinvent the wheel or break the mold of superhero flicks of the past like The Dark Knight and Watchmen did. It does not. All joking aside, does every new superhero movie need to break new ground? That appears to me as an impossible standard which will make you disappointed 90% of the time. In summary, X-Men Origins: Wolverine is really as exciting and fun as Iron Man or any of the Spider-Man or X-Men films; which for me is extremely esteemed company indeed.
